For your edification here are direct links to zipped mp3 archives of every episode of Bob Dylan’s Theme Time Radio Hour so far. Posting the shows has been something of an evolutionary process, so the earlier shows–in particular the first half of the first season–tend to vary in track formatting, mp3 bitrate, tag consistency, etc. They are offered as is.

Many thanks to all who have helped me keep putting these shows up over the last couple of years. And a great big thanks to the powers that be at XM Radio for allowing our collective shenanigans here to continue. Without their good graces a lot of people all around the world wouldn’t be able to catch Bob’s great shows through this humble venture. So, THANKS! :-)

And a great collection of one-liners.

Click the graphic in the article for a big version.

Thanks, Duff!

TTRH CD reviews

From The Sydney Morning Herald, icWales and the Telegraph.

Here are the two episodes in the “tbuick6″ track format ya’ll are more used to…

Joe (84MB)
Heat (84MB)

I’ve been getting a bit slack with keeping links up to date ’round here so this weekend I’ll put up a single post that has direct links to all of Season 2 for those of you just joining us.

Thanks for making it another great, if all too short, season of the TTRH. I surely hope Bob is back with the third season later in the spring or in the summer. In the meantime, come visit me at my blog. I have a yen to do a few podcasts myself and I’ve even picked a theme that Bob touched on in his last show and that is near and dear to me as of late.

So I’ll see you around!

-Croz

It’s that time of year when it’s warming up some places and cooling down in others. Somewhere there’s always somebody feelin’…

Cold (82MB, mp3 @ 192)

Things are back to normal with the show torrents just in time for–well, I’ll let Bob tell you–so I’ll be converting and uploading the previous two episodes in the more familiar format in the next couple of days.

For folks who have been having trouble opening the .zip archives recently, I haven’t done anything different this time but I will run a small-file test when I get a chance.

Be careful touching this week’s episode, ya might burn yourself!

Heat (85MB zip archive, mp3 @ 192)

This week’s show again comes courtesy of “charlespoet” and those crazy Swedes at The Pirate Bay.

More media melding in the US marketplace.

We have a special offer here at the Night Time blog this week: if your name is “Joe” you get the show for free!…

Once again I have to head out as the show uploads, so don’t click that link until 2pm Ottawa time (world clock!).

Joe (85MB, mp3 @ 192)

The torrent that I usually use (”tbuick6″) is not available at the moment so this archive is the “charlespoet” version which sounds just as good but is broken up into fewer tracks (19). When the tbuick6 version shows up I’ll post it with an update. Many thanks to Fred for the tip!

And a quick note to blindwilly: I didn’t see your comment about alternate sources on the 14th because it got flagged as spam. A belated thanks for the info!

And again…

HungerCity.org is down again… I’ll keep checking there and elsewhere.

My file splitting isn’t quite as deft as tbuick6’s, but I did my best. The archive is currently uploading and I have to head out, so wait until a little after 9:30am Ottawa time (world clock!) to download.

More Birds (87MB zip archive, mp3 @ 192kbps)

Have a great weekend!

Hahaha. NOW the torrent site comes back up. :-)

Delayed…

There will be a delay with this week’s show because the BitTorrent site where I get the files is currently offline. Hopefully they’ll be back up soon and I can get the show up here some time tomorrow.

In the meantime, if you are hankering for a download I’ve got an excellent recent Neil Young show up over at my blog.

Update, 8:30pm EST Mar 13 - @%#$*&^@!!!… That’s the sound of hundreds of folks who’s torrents were at 99%. HungerCity.org is still down, so we wait. If anybody knows of another source please let me know.

Update 2, 6:30am EST Mar 14 - Many thanks to Peter and Willem for the MP3 links and to floc and WimW (love your films! ;-). I’ve got the full-length mp3 and I’ll split, tag and upload it this morning.

Question: Why do hummingbirds hum?
Answer: Because they don’t know the words.

Birds (85MB .zip archive, mp3 @ 192kbps)

A little birdie told me that Croz is back with a personal blog at blog.patrickcrosley.com so drop by for some music and writings. The new iteration is off to a great start with a great recording of Bob Dylan at The Town Hall in NYC, 1963.

Hope to see you there!

Here’s the track listing for Bob’s TTRH compilation and it looks like the show is one of many successes for XM Radio. Congrats XM people and thanks for letting us share the show!

WARNING!!! BEWARE!!!

Danger (85MB .zip archive, mp3 @ 192kbps)

Download if you dare!!!

Thank You!

A huge thank you to all who donated!

You have covered my outstanding hosting and bandwidth bills and left me enough to cover the costs for a few months to come. Which is good ’cause where I’m staying now they don’t want me to work for a while.

Say, can I stay here forever?…

Your kindness and support are overwhelming and I will be writing to you all personally over the next few days.

And for those who may be missing my old blog I’m happy to announce that I GOT DA INTERNET TODAY–WooHoo!!!–and within the next few days I’ll be back to personal blogging. I don’t know what form it will take yet (pretty much every post I posted in the past came straight out of a can of Tuborg) but you can count on musings and music. I’ll post a link here when I’m up and running, and friends old and new are welcome to visit.

So thank you again, and enjoy this week’s TTRH show which will be up later tonight. :-)

So I told my doctor, “It hurts when I do this,” and he replied, “Don’t do that.”

And somewhat related to health, it’s time for the biannual Croz bandwidth drive. If you think you might be able to help please continue reading…

PeterS commented on the previous post about his involvement with an upcoming TTRH compilation which is mentioned in this Uncut article about Bob’s new Starbuck’s offering.

It’s an election year in the US and Bob’s celebrating the Presidents Day holiday in a big way with a two-hour show…
